REGISTER A COACH
It is easy to become a Georgia Cycling TeamMTB Coach! Once you join the Georgia Cycling family, you will discover the immense joy to be had when helping students develop life skills through cross-country mountain biking. All Volunteer Coaches must register and complete a licensing process to participate with their local Georgia Cycling team. In addition, all coaches must pass an annual background check.
2026 Coach Registration Cost: $40
2026 Background Check Cost: $35 base price
In addition to the base price, you may be subject to a “jurisdiction fee” if you have lived in AR, CA, FL, KY, LA, MI, MS, NH, NV, NY, TN, WV, WY, CO, ME, MT, SD, or VT. The jurisdiction fee is automatically imposed by the source jurisdiction. Georgia Cycling and its background check provider lack the authority to modify, change, or waive such fees.
All Coaches must register by August 12 AND complete their licensing by August 19 in order to participate in the 2026 season.
REGISTER A team
To be covered by Georgia Cycling’s umbrella insurance policy, all local teams must be registered before hosting team events. To qualify for the compliant team discount, a team must have one coach who has attended the 2026 Coaches Summit.
Division 1 Teams: Riders from the same high school and future middle school students
Compliant Team Discounted Fee: $125
Standard Team Registration Fee: $250
Division 2 Teams: Riders from different schools or homeschooled students within a specific geographic area
Compliant Team Discounted Fee: $125
Standard Team Registration Fee: $250
Team Registration may only be completed by a Head Coach or Team Director. Student-athletes can not register for their local team until team leadership has completed their 2026 registration.
All teams must be registered for the 2026 season by June 1. Remember, your athletes can not register for your team until your team is registered!
