race series
The Georgia Cycling Race Series presented by Northside Hospital is an opportunity for student-athletes to set competitive goals to achieve their personal best. This fall race series is an optional add-on to the Georgia Cycling Youth MTB Program.
We know young athletes have a varying appetite for competition, so we intentionally designed our race day experience to accommodate all levels. One of the Georgia Cycling Pillars is to value “finish over podium.” For some of our more experienced riders who thrive on competition, it could mean pushing themselves to be a top 5 finisher. For other riders just starting out, that could simply mean crossing the finish line. We strive to create an environment that celebrates someone who pushes themselves to stretch for more…whatever they define as more.
Our race days are defined by a culture where the crowd cheers for the rider in front of them, regardless of whether there is a personal connection to their team. We want to nurture young athletes to help them push themselves beyond the boundaries they perceive for themselves. A raucous and noisy crowd cheering on a rider could be just the fuel they need to achieve something they didn’t think was possible.
When you join the Georgia Cycling Race Series presented by Northside Hospital, the life lessons learned during this adventure are priceless.
In order to register for the Georgia Cycling Race Series presented by Northside Hospital, you must be a registered participant in the Georgia Cycling Youth MTB Program. We offer time-based registration discounts. This means the earlier you register, the lower the cost. Should you need help in covering registration fees, please check out the Financial Assistance Program presented by Arcus Captial Partners.

individual race registration
Registering race-by-race allows a student-athlete to participate without committing to the full series. This is perfect for a student-athlete who has never ridden in a race before and wants to try out competition without committing to the whole series. It is also an ideal solution for those seeking flexibility to work around a scheduling conflict.
Registration for an individual race closes at 12 Noon on the Tuesday PRIOR to race weekend.
Individual race registration fees are non-refundable. Should a rider have a medical issue that prevents them from riding in a race, that fee may be transferred to a future 2024 race with documentation from a medical professional.
