REGISTER A student-athlete

Registering your child for Georgia Cycling’s TeamMTB program is simple. Registration must be completed by a parent or guardian; athletes under the age of 18 are not permitted to register themselves for any Georgia Cycling program. Here are the three steps to get rolling:

  1. Find Your Team

Our teams are zoned by school, with different schools feeding into different teams. Use the Team Finder to make sure you’re registering for the correct team—it’s the first (and most important) step to getting connected with your local program.

  2. Complete TeamMTB Registration

To participate, all student-athletes must complete registration and pay the $215 enrollment fee* for the 2026 TeamMTB season. Once registered, your athlete is cleared to ride, practice, and take part in team activities with their local youth mountain bike team.

  3. Decide on Racing

To race or not to race? That’s up to your child. All TeamMTB riders have the option to register for the 2026 Northside Hospital Race Series, but participation is completely optional. Pricing varies based on when you register. Not ready to decide yet? No problem—you can always add race registration later (at the current pricing at that time).

All student-athletes must register by August 19 to participate in the 2026 season.

*Some local teams may have an additional team fee that is above and beyond the $215 league fee.
